The material defined by this specification is a corrosion inhibiting wash primer. This material is composed of a blend of chromate pigments and suitable resins and solvents to provide the required adhesion and corrosion resistance properties. This material is mixed thoroughly with ESB-M14J206-A Acid Catalyst Solvent before use.

APPLICATION

This specification was released originally for primers used in low visibility areas to provide good adhesion for black-out enamel topcoats on zinc substrates and other metal surfaces where a phosphate coating cannot be applied.
