Water quality - Determination of phosporus - Ammonium molybdate spectrometric method

inactive, Most Current
Organization: DS
Publication Date: 12 March 1997
Status: inactive
Page Count: 14
ICS Code (Examination of water for chemical substances): 13.060.50
scope:

Described are methods for the determination of orthophosphate, hydroly- sable phosphate, total soluble phosphate and total phosphate after decomposition. The methods are applicable to all kinds of water including seawater and effluents. Phosphorus contents within the range of 0,005mg/l to 0,8mg/l may be determined in such samples without dilution. A solvent extraction procedure allows smaller phosphorus concentrations to be determined with a detection limit of about 0,0005mg/l.
