scope:

This Danish Standard specifies requirements for the strength, and durability for all types of domestic storage furniture and kitchen and bathroom furniture. It does not apply to professional kitchens. It does not include safety requirements, which are specified in EN 14749. It does not include requirements for electrical safety as well as resistance to ageing, degradation and flammability. Requirements for strength and durability tests do not apply to the structure of the building. For example the strength of wall hanging cabinets includes only the cabinets and the parts used for attachment. The wall and the wall attachments are not included.
