scope:

This Standard specifies the testing method of sealing by the admittance measurement test on anodic oxidation coatings (hereafter referred to as "coatings") of over 3 pm thick applied to the products manufactured from aluminium and aluminium alloys (hereafter referred to as "products").

NOTE 1 This method is also suitable for use as a production-control test, and applicable to an acceptance test upon the agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer.
