Purpose of the Information Sheet

This Information Sheet contains information and recommendations for an economical use of the manufacturing medium industrial robot (IT) in resistance welding technology. The information is intended especially for employees of the production planning and work preparation, the construction of operation media and product construction as well as the operating, servicing and safety personnel.

The industrial robot is characterized above all by its high flexibility, it is used as a universal handing appliance in many fields for production and can be part of a flexible production system (FFS). It's possible uses for manipulating the welding tools and the work pieces to be welded for resistance welding shall be demonstrated.
