This guideline governs the special requirements for planning and execution of building measures as well as the maintenance of building services in buildings of historical value.
Buildings of historical value are buildings which are legally protected and recorded in books and lists of historical buildings as well as other, not officially registered buildings in which there is a public interest in their preservation and use. This is the case when there are important historical, artistic, scientific, technical, folkloristic or municipal development reasons for their preservation and use.
The respective national heritage protection laws must be observed for all measures on listed buildings.
