touchscreen-specific
This Part 3 of the guideline VDI/VDE 3850 is intended to give rules and recommendations with respect to the design of stationary touchscreens. The recommendations given here include fundamental rules for design (such as the size and labelling of objects), information on the use of dialogue techniques, and examples of touchscreen display designs. Mobile touchscreen-based systems (like, e.g., in handheld computers, or in traffic control and cockpit technology) will, to some extent, differ in their design requirements, and will not be dealt with in this guideline.
