Purpose and application
The purpose of document is the following:
1. to be able to make statements on the quality of measuring results (quality test and quality assurance) as defined by DIN V ENV 13005,
2. in particular, in addition to DIN V ENV 13005, to establish a uniform procedure for the determination of the value of the decisive rating level and its confidence regions (see VDI 3723 Part 1) from a number of individual values in the rating level (random samples),
3. to be able to describe noise immissions from plants and background noises more comprehensively by means of the measuring variables LAF95, LAFeq and LAF1, and the characteristic quantities (descriptors) and confidence regions derived from them as listed in Table 1 in VDI 3723 Part 1,
4. to give criteria based on characteristic values determined by measurement with which qualityassured test and assessment procedures can be applied and
5. to estimate the required measuring effort corresponding to the maximum permissible informative error specified by the task.
