The guideline describes the problems and procedures involved in modernizing and/or expanding existing materials-handling installations and logistical systems without causing any interruption to operations.
It describes with the help of a practical example how integration of two distribution centres at one single location and their change of use can be processed target-orientated and with as few problems as possible for the course of normal operation.
