scope:
Part-specific mechanisation (transfer tooling) is used for the automated transfer of blanks and sheet metal parts within the press or press line from the blanking stack to the unloading conveyor belt. Since transfer tooling forms the link between the press automation system and the sheet metal part, each change of component also entails a transfer tooling change. Different transfer systems are available for presses and press lines: two-axis transfer and three-axis transfer.
