scope:
This guideline deals with both, automatic and manually operated conveyor systems which are used for internal transport and assembly applications. This includes standard indoor and outdoor applications such as pallet transport, container transport, but also the transport, without loading aids, of unit loads such as motors/engines, car bodies and "white goods". Passenger and bulk-material transport applications are not considered.
