This guideline specifies methods for determining diffusive emissions from industrial halls and buildings of livestock farming. It allows for the determination of emission rates by indirect and direct methods.
Diffusive emissions from areas in the vicinity of the halls or buildings that form part of the plant are not treated in this guideline, nor are diffusive emissions of particulate matter.
The use of this guideline requires knowledge of guideline VDI 4285 Part 1.
