This guideline specifies minimum criteria for the qualitative description of used car parts (passenger cars, commercial vehicles and motorcycles). Indications of age and mileage should be regarded as average values.
It is addressed to manufacturers, suppliers and endusers of used vehicle components and to vehicle experts and specialists who deal with the disassembly and assembly of used car parts.
Warranty issues are not dealt with in this guideline.
