scope:
The standard is applicable to courses for further training of professionals in the field of hot-water, heating and cooling systems.
It conveys to the planners, installers or operators of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning or other hydraulically supplied systems the particulars to be observed in designing the structure of hydraulic distribution systems and for the various applications.
Furthermore, rules are given for the dimensioning of pipes and hydraulic components. The requirements specified in VDI 2073 Part 1 and Part 2 are taken into account in the trainings.
