VDI 4506 BLATT 2

Strategic sales - Planning products and innovations with the business coach

active, Most Current
Organization: VDI
Publication Date: 1 March 2012
Status: active
Page Count: 46
ICS Code (Trade. Commercial function. Marketing): 03.100.20
scope:

This guideline is intended to be applied after guideline VDI 4506 Part 1 has been worked through and the action-related insights so gained are then focussed on products.

The "company" business plan in VDI 4506 Part 1 becomes the "products" business plan in the present part of the guideline. The methodological approach remains the same, except that the questions now concentrate on and around the product. Even irrespective of its application, VDI 4506 Part 1 is a valuable guide for both learning and experienced individuals.

The first aspiration of the guideline is to concentrate on you as company and project manager so that your products and innovations can be secured with more certainty, speed and profitability.

This guideline is intended to serve you as an orientational guide in exploiting the opportunities offered by a product concept either as a new product or in breathing new life into an existing product

  • as company or project manager,
  • for understanding yourself and for your product goals,
  • for your product management and marketing,
  • for your coordination of development, production and sales,
  • for your monitoring of processes and results.
