Scope of Validity
This Guideline is applicable to plants in which wastes from hospitals and other public health facilities are incinerated, to the extent that these wastes are not suitable as domestic refuse of any type for ordinary waste disposal.
This Guideline does not apply to wastes for which there are special regulations. Specific VDI Guidehnes [19 to 21] are applicable to the incineration of do¬ mestic wastes and hazardous wastes, and to crematoria.
