VDI 2267 BLATT 12

Determination of suspended matter in ambient air - Measurement of As, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, Sb and Zn by energy dispersive X-ray fluorescense (ED XRF)

inactive, Most Current
Organization: VDI
Publication Date: 1 October 2008
Status: inactive
Page Count: 28
ICS Code (Ambient atmospheres): 13.040.20
scope:

The analysis method described in this guideline is suitable for determining the concentration of particlebound elements in ambient air. The limits of detection that can be attained with the measurement method described in this guideline (see Section 9) do not allow the determination of a large number of elements in rural areas with low exposure levels. The determination of these elements is therefore as a rule limited to industrial agglomerations or areas with an industrial activity.
