This standard is targeted to users of simulation technology (planners, equipment suppliers, operators, service providers) involved in the preparation, execution and evaluation of simulation studies for the investigation of logistic, material flow and production systems.
In the interests of simplification, logistics, material flow and production systems are referred to in the following collectively as "technical systems".
