The method described here is a discontinuous procedure with sampling carried out separately from gas chromatographic analysis. The method is flexible and can be adapted to different measurement tasks. The measurement intervals can be varied, enabling sampling durations from a few minutes up to several hours. The method described here is therefore also suitable for measurements based on the EU Directive 2008/50/EC and the rules derived from it. The procedure can be automated in part or in whole.
