scope:

This Guideline applies to the following types of stationary machines for the forming of concreto blocks

- Single-pallet machines - Multi-layer machines

- Turntable machines with compression-type compaction

- Turntable machines with ramming-type compaction

NOTE: It is intended to prepare further Guidelines after completion of corresponding measurements for machines for the forming of concreto blocks which have not been included here.

Purpose

This Guideline describes the noise emission of the nnachines for the fornning of concreto blocks nnentioned in the scope which have been deternnined in accordance with standardised nneasuring nnethods. The noise ennission quantities indicated in clause 4 and the characteristic noise ennission values represented in clause 5 are used to describe this ennission.

Furthernnore, Annex A of this Guideline includes infornnation on noise control nnethods.

This Guideline can assist its users - designers, nnanufacturers, Operators and institutions dealing with the evaluation, checking or control of the noise ennission of such nnachines - in perfornning the acoustic evaluation.
