Foreword

To enable further rationalization of self-powered trolley systems both by the manufacturers and operators, this recommendation was drawn up in the interests of both parties with the objective of stipulating only such system data for self-powered trolleys of a carefully chosen and widespread type and load ränge as would enable the use of self-powered trolley systems of different manufacture in one overall system. This refers to mutual interoperability where a trolley system mo¬ bile Unit from one system can run through on a different system. To do this, a profile rail with a suspended trolley system is used.

The design latitude of individual manufacturers should be restricted as little as possible.

Minimum requirements are specified to ensure efficient Operation.
