All installations of the cost group 400 "Structure - technical installations" according to DIN 276 are TBS installations in the sense of this standard.
The evaluation of quality according to this standard is independent of the acceptance according to VOB regulations and is based on the prerequisite that the installations have been accepted as free of faults or are completely operational.
The standard contains evaluation criteria for the technical quality of TBS. The criteria describe individual qualities of the technical installations. The standard thus gives references for ways how to evaluate the technical quality of TBS installations. The individual criteria can be applied to all trades of TBS. Or, use them for evaluating the technical quality of individual installations.
The standard can also be used to evaluate the technical quality of planned solutions. Also, it provides a reference for the choice of criteria to use in sustainability certification systems for evaluating the technical quality of TBS.
