VDI 3633 BLATT 11

Simulation of systems in logistics, materials handling and production - Simulation and visualization

inactive
Organization: VDI
Publication Date: 1 October 2009
Status: inactive
Page Count: 34
ICS Code (Purchasing. Procurement. Logistics): 03.100.10
scope:

In analogy to VDI 3633 Part 1, Part 11 is restricted to the application areas of simulation in the fields of conveyor technology, material flow, logistics and production, including the analysis of information-logistic issues in companies and company networks. The analysis focuses on the system with its logistic processes; ergonomic models of the human being (see also DIN 33 402 or DIN 33 408) and the processoriented view of production and assembly processes (kinematics, finite element method - FEM) are not in the focus of this guideline. The latter are dealt with in VDI 3633 Part 8.

For software-ergonomic issues with reference to the type and form of the information representation (e. g. with regard to colouring, text size) which also play a substantial role in connection with visualization methods, references are made to the existing standards (e. g. DIN EN ISO 9241-10 to -17 and DIN EN ISO 14 915).
