scope:
This standard describes the basic principles and resulting methods for calculating the load-securing forces (tie-down forces) which, in road transport, affect loads and road vehicles in driving operation under usual traffic conditions. Regarding combined transport, the contents of standard VDI 2700 Part 7 is to be noted in addition. Load-securing forces are calculated analogously.
