Area of application and purpose

This guideline serves as a uniform basis for the evaluation/ examination of technical equipment (building services).

The purpose is to consider the property and the building services as a whole. The clear definition of the planning objective is in the foreground here.

The guideline provides:

• Advice on planning, the specification and, secondarily, performance

• Advice and methods for setting up assessment criteria and their use

• Advice on assessment according to non-specific and specific technical criteria

It is directed towards site owners, property and specialist planners, persons undertaking work, users and operators.

Possible evaluation methods are presented to the user, however, project-specific evaluation and weighting is still a matter for the user.
