Area of application and purpose
There is a sample project at the centre of this guideline VDI 6009 Part 3 which was already dealt with in Part 1 and Part 2. The project concems an administration building with mixed usage.
The sample project is used in this part of the guideline as a basis for the representation of processes and steps. They are supported as an example by a CAFM system.
It is not only an Information system which documents data in an administrative sense but rather a system that supports management functions by the rapid procurement of Information (interactive Operation, reporting, Interfaces to other IT systems).
