Purpose and range of application
It is the purpose of this guideline to define generally applicable calibration procedures for the calibration of test receivers for electrical quantities and hence to provide a uniform and management independent base for the control of testing equipment.
The present Part 12 is valid for test receivers (TR) and defines procedures for their fundamental calibration. Part 12 holds in conjunction with Part 1 "Fundamentals" and Part 2 "Uncertainty of measurement".
The standards and guidelines considered in this guideline are listed in the Bibliography.
