Sie gilt für die in Tabelle 3 angegebenen Bauformen.
Für diesen festen Steckverbinder verwendbare Kontakte, Blindstopfen und Endgehäuse siehe EN 3645-002. Für die freien Steckverbinder und Schutzkappen siehe EN 3645-008, EN 3645-011, EN 3645-012 bzw. EN 3645-006.
Diese Steckverbinder sind von den Steckverbindern nach der Norm MIL-DTL- 38999/20 abgeleitet und mit diesen austauschbar.
