This Standard appies to expandable sleeving rated at 90°C, 105°C, 125°C, 150°C and 200°C for bundling of insulated wires and cables, intended for the use in equipment designed to be installed and used in accordance with the rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I (CE Code). The product consists of an open weave design of polymeric monofilam.

This Standard does not apply to coated electrical sleeving intended for use in connection with the internal wiring of electrical devices and appliances and for insulating one or more uninsulated or partially insulated conductors, bus bars, component leads, or assemblies of electrical components.

The values given in SI (metric) units shall be normative. Any other values given shall be for information purposes only, except for conductor sizes where the equivalent metric values are in parentheses.
