This specification covers automatic temperature regulating valves for steam, water, and other fluid service where accurate temperature control of fluid is required. These valves are of the self-operated type requiring no external power supply such as oil, water, steam, electricity, or compressed gas for their operation. However, when the fail-safe mode is required, it can be externally powered.
