scope:
This Standard specifies the air displacement and direct displacement single channel and multi-channel piston pipettes, designed as a volumetric apparatus to draw up and deliver their specified nominal volume. It is not applicable to piston burettes. Piston dilters, piston dispensers, volumetric pipettes, measuring pipettes and micro syringes.
