Die ATV DIN 18321 „Düsenstrahlarbeiten" gilt für das Dichten oder Verfestigen von Boden, Fels und Auffüllungen durch Düsenstrahlverfahren. 

Die ATV DIN 18321 gilt nicht für

- die für Düsenstrahlarbeiten vorzunehmenden Bohrarbeiten (siehe ATV DIN 18301 „Bohrarbeiten"), 

- Einpressarbeiten (siehe ATV DIN 18309 „Einpressarbeiten"). 

Ergänzend gilt die ATV DIN 18299 „Allgemeine Regelungen für Bauarbeiten jeder Art", Abschnitte 1 bis 5. Bei Widersprüchen gehen die Regelungen der ATV DIN 18321 vor.
