This standard gives guidance for the planning and operating of ventilation systems in schools with the aim of ensuring compliance with the requirements specified in VDI 6040 Part 1. Guidance is given for both natural and mechanical ventilation.
The proposed solutions described are to be regarded as examples that do not release the planners and operators from their responsibility to develop an optimal solution for the specific case.
