Dieser Teil der ISO 13643 definiert Formelzeichen und Benennungen und liefert Richtlinien für die Durchführung von Versuchen zur Ermittlung der hydrodynamischen Kräfte und Momente infolge von vorgegebenen Bewegungen an einem Planar-Motion-, einem Rundlauf- oder einem Schrägschlepp- bzw. Schräganströmungssystem für Modelle von Überwasserschiffen und Ubooten. Er definiert außerdem Formelzeichen und Benennungen und liefert Richtlinien für die Durchführung von Versuchen in einem Windkanal. Es ist vorgesehen, dass er in Verbindung mit ISO 13643-1 gelesen wird.
