This instruction applies to all DON Components and activities. It encompasses VI and COMCAM, which use audiovisual media to exploit the capability of imagery and sound to effectively communicate vast amounts of accurate information throughout the DON and DoD. The process is not an end in itself. It is part of a larger set of information processes and capabilities essential throughout the DON and DoD for productive and total mission accomplishment.
