This Standard applies to all premises for which LU has landlord responsibility.

This standard does not apply to battery powered equipment operating at 50V or less which it is impossible to connect (either directly or indirectly) to a mains electricity supply.

This standard replaces 2-01105-012 A1. The Standard has been re formatted and renumbered. There were no technical changes.

Purpose

The purpose of this Standard is to define the requirements for the testing of portable electrical appliances used by LU staff, and the keeping of associated records.
