Diese Norm legt ein Zusatzverfahren zu DIN 53436-2 zur kontinuierlichen und gleichmäßigen thermischen Zersetzung von Flüssigkeiten in einem Luftstrom unter definierten Bedingungen fest. Hierfür wird ein spezieller für Flüssigkeiten geeigneter Probenbehälter verwendet, der in dem Quarzrohr nach DIN 53436-1 platziert wird. Diese Norm gilt zusammen mit DIN 53436 Teil 1 und 2.
