scope:
This standard specifies requirements relating to
- the laying of mastic asphalt screed as specified in the DIN 18560 series of standards,
- the use of mastic asphalt to protect waterproofing as specified in DIN 18195-10,
- mastic asphalt in combination with waterproofing work as specified in DIN 18195-5,
- the laying of mastic asphalt screed as specified in DIN EN 14879-3,
- the preparation of impervious mastic asphalt coatings and linings of tanks or containers in contact with water polluting agents.
This standard does not cover work involving surfacings on roads or road surfacings on bridges (see DIN 18317).
- DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18354 shall take precedence.
