This standard deals with glazing work, including all-glass constructions and the installation of translucent plastics sheet material.
This standard does not cover
- mounting of hardware (see DIN 18357),
- building with glass blocks (see DIN 18330),
- laying of glass tiles (see DIN 18338),
- back-ventilated wall cladding (see DIN 18351).
DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18361 shall take precedence.
