The Material Data Report (MDR) will be used to obtain essential cost, technical and programmatic data for material items used in the development and production of the contracted Prime Mission Product. This data will be used in the development of Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs), independent cost studies and budgetary cost estimates to support the Government Acquisition Process.

This Data Item Description (DID) summarizes the format, content and provides preparation instructions to support the specific data and frequency requirements specified in the contract.
