This Standard sets out requirements for amorphous silica as a supplementary cementitious material in concrete, mortar, grout and related materials.
C1 It is acknowledged that amorphous silica may be used in other applications. Other synthetic silica-based materials may be available but are not covered by this Standard.
Testing should be performed on the raw (unmodified) silica fume.
