scope:

1.1 General This report was prepared jointly with TC57 with the scope to prepare requirements and proposals for IEC 61850 data model extensions to support Fault Passage Indicators (all classes and extended functions) applications to be introduced in (future) IEC 61850-90-6 and that, in turn, will be needed for the preparation of (future) IEC 62689-3: FPI communication interface. 1.2 Framework The document gets two main framework constraints, having editorial and technical impacts as: - this content needs to be merged with the IEC 61850-90-6 report, the current document will exactly stick with the targeted document structure and principles. - this document intends to prepare the content of the future IEC 62689-3, it will directly rely on the functional requirements expressed in the part 1 and 2 of IEC 62689.
