INTRODUCTION
This Productability risk assessment is an assessment made by GM Holden of the risks involved in introduction of a paint material into the GM Holden vehicle body painting facility at Elizabeth. It is used to predict the material's capability to achieve Quality and Production metrics that are repeatable and sustainable within normal production process variation.
This specification details the testing requirements of the paint supplier and the documentation required for each submission to GM Holden to allow productability risk assessment approval. The information supplied in the submitted documentation will be used to advise GM Holden Manufacturing of the target application parameters required to achieve optimal appearance and quality.
