scope:

PURPOSE

To provide instructions for Center employees designated to perform Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE)-related collateral duties while serving in the role of an Area Manager (AM), Building Manager (BM), Assistant Building Manager (ABM) and SHE organization Point of Contact (POC) in implementing and supporting their organization's activities in the Center's SHE Program in accordance with Pub. L. 91-596, "Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970," and MPR 8715.

APPLICABILITY 

This Marshall Work Instruction (MWI) applies to Center personnel, programs, projects, and activities, including contractors and resident agencies to the extent specified in their respective contracts or agreements. ("Contractors," for purposes of this paragraph, include contractors, grantees, Cooperative Agreement recipients, Space Act Agreement partners, or other agreement parties.) 

The MWI applies to the Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF).
