This Part of the Standard specifies the requirements for fuse-holders, tag and ferrule types, and extractor post type, for use in circuits of voltage rating up to 660 V ac rms, having sinusoidal wave form and up to 460 V dc with current ratings as specified herein.
Some items specified in section two of this Part of the Standard are physically and electrically to BS 88: having their environmental performance specified herein.
These items are not suitable for aerospace applications.
