This Guidance applies to stanby duties carried out by Escalators & Pumps staff.
Purpose
The purpose of this Guidance is to ensure that station works etc. have an escalator competent person available to provide Escalator Anchoring services here required and return assets back to passenger service. This is referred to as Standby duties.
