1.1 Scope.

This document applies to the Electro-magnetic Compatibility (EMC) of electrical / electronic components and subsystems for passenger vehicles, light duty trucks and medium duty trucks. It is ac-cepted by all parts of General Motors (GM) and, there-fore, applicable to all GM automotive products world-wide. This document is one document out of a series of six global EMC documents which specify EMC test and validation requirements. The complete series con-sists of the following documents: GMW3091, GMW3094, GMW3097, GMW3100, GMW3103 and GMW3106
