Cooling surfaces for rooms - Planning, installation and operation

active, Most Current
Organization: VDI
Publication Date: 1 August 2017
Status: active
Page Count: 28
ICS Code (Ventilation and air-conditioning systems): 91.140.30
scope:

This standard applies to the cooling of rooms by means of temperature-controlled surfaces. It offers guidance for the planning, construction and operation of liquid-cooled room cooling surfaces integrated into ceilings, walls and floors, or for systems with cooled massive building components. Systems having surface temperatures below the dewpoint are not considered.

The systems are often used for alternate cooling and heating. This standard, however, does not apply to the heating case.
