scope:
Purpose. To implement reference (a), prescribe procedures, and assign responsibility for conducting the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Inspection Program. This instruction cancels the NAVFAC Reserve Component inspection instruction, NAVFACINST 5042.6A, and is applicable to both Active Component and Reserve Component commands and units.
