Purpose.

To provide a process in SPAWAR to invest in the professional and personal growth and excellence of our Sailors. The Career Development Board (CDB) will afford all Sailors the opportunity for optimal development of their professional skills, thereby enhancing upward mobility, job satisfaction, retention and contributing to SPAWAR's Mission, using as a minimum references (a) through (g). This instruction should be reviewed annually to ensure accuracy of guidance.
